How to post pictures (with pictures!)

Hi all,

so, here is how to post pics on your posts! its someting thats quite daunting until you do it once and realise just how easy it is!

first things first, go to www.imageshack.us and create a login.

1) when you login, you'll be presented with this page





click browse, and select the photo you want to upload. you can also put in a URL (a web address) if you are stealing from google images or elsewhere)!

2) click upload





3) your image is now ready to post! select the field next to "forum" and copy the script





4) come to your post and paste in the script





5) your image is now in your post!




simples!

im still investigating flickr, but for now, this take seconds to post a photo

I give up. I followed your instruction, I can still see it ll on preview too. Just won't let me save it. I'm just going to wait 7 days and hope!

i dont get it either - theres nothing in your permissions stopping you.

ive made you an admin (sorry, no pay rise) to see if it now lets you?

well, i just noticed that this forum does let you host photos!

one of the icons above your post says "host image"

click on that, browse for your image and hey presto! copy the text for the image or thumbnail and pop it in your post!



this cuts out all of the image shack shenanigans!

i wonder what the capacity is....i guess we'll find out one day!

Yeah works fine but you still can't do it via a smartphone unfortunately
