Hobo is the Orkish expert round these parts and I'm sure he can throw you some good advice.

So far my advice has been - big mek w/ KFF, lootas, burna boys in a trukk, dakka jets and boyz... lots of boyz

Hobo can probably add something a bit more helpful than what I call help, which has pretty much just been giving you a shopping list :-D

btw randomly - where's talisman these days? havent seen him about since before xmas I think?

Welcome to the siite Dubbs. I can't say I'm happy to see more Orks as I can't seem to beat them!

I do pretty much concur with Stryph on what seems to be the harshest Ok army to beat. The only diference would be to change the trukk for a battle wagon. Like he said though - Hobo is the expert around here Smile

Howdy howdy - I on the other hand have no objection at all to seeing more orkses around (to be fair I've only played them the once!) but my advice would pretty much be DON'T BE BULLIED BY STRYPH like the rest of us; it's a false sense of security purely so his nids can chew another army up!!! Very Happy

so what sort of units do you have and what sort of list interests you?

ive just finished painting 3 warbikers, next on my list is the forgeworld biker boss i got from xmas.
Warbikers are really good in this edition, its a unit ive come onto late but im hooked on them

Using them as nob bikers makes them even harder!

Not a bad speed freaks list! If i were you i would:

Drop eavy armour and shoota on warboss -10 ill explain why...
Drop cybork, power klaw and squig from big mek -50 you dont want him in combat - leave him in the bw when the rest of the nob squad disembarks
Drop riggers kannon and rokkits from the BW -35? Big mek can repair it, so no need for riggers. With the deffrolla, youll be charging around 13" pretty much every turn, so youll only snapshot - too many points for snapshots
Drop riggers on al trukks -15 -wont really be used.

Swap twin linked shootas for kombi skorchas across the board 0 - just must better
Make sure the ard boy nob has eavy armour

Thats just over 100 points saved. I would put the boss on a bike, which gives him the gun, a 4+ cover and a twin linked dakkagun
Id also be tempted by a boomwagon as you have enough vehicles thundering around it will likely get ignored, but it does give you the magical S8 AP3 large blast. That or a dakkajet or more Bikes!

Thanks for the suggestions bud!

I was hoping to get a dakkajet into it somehow so thanks Smile Will read through properly when i have 2 mins.

its a riidiculously hench combo - your warboss would be T6, 3W, 4+ armour, 4+ cover, 5+inv and feel no pain to boot!

it would cost an absolute shed loads of points though - warboss included about 500-600 off the top of my head?

a small unit of 2 nob bikers with a painboy and the boss would be a similar thing - less models of course, but less of a points sink too - just have to be more careful how you move up the board.

i like running the biker boss solo personally
