They might as well have been unarmed!!) I'm with you on the guns though - should be the easiest thing in the world to paint and yet I struggle as well! ;(

personally i like how the beret boys skulking around the back - what colour berets will they have?

guns may be annoying but at least they are quick!

gonna be black berrets with a white band on them.... I may even do a pompom on the top like the sharpe ones...

I've completed the squad (well for now... I'm still juggling with the colour scheme and adding a few details) pics to follow soon. I've not finished the commissar but as she has more than 3 colours on her i'm claiming it as a win!

next pledge is 10 more normal guards. this should give me time to finish the commissar and really nail the scheme down.
